It was time for a little makeover around here.
No, my hair still looks the same.
No, I haven't lost weight (thanks for asking;).
No, we have not moved...again.
MY BLOG HAS A NEW LOOK!
Since this space of mine has become short on words and big on pictures I've decided that focusing on the photography is where I'm at right now. That and...of course...the boys.
Is this what you get for being a bit boy crazy in your youth? A house full of the little buggers? I couldn't be more thankful that I chased a few "back in the day".
Here's my new domain:
You can of course still find me the "couture" way. And it can go unsaid that I'd love to photo your princess or ponytail as well. :)
Thanks for sticking with me and the boys!
Summer is just getting started and we've already logged hours-amounting-to-days on the boat and at the Y. It's a fine balance between algae and chlorine that keeps us clean and cool during the dog days.
Managed to snap a few pics today as we braved the wind and waves to avoid the humidity.
This is how we "Minnesota." How do you?
It's a funny thing when your kids are spread out in age. When they are at entirely different developmental stages at the same time. Catering to their needs gets old...not just for me I'm sure. When we're all together, it feels like nobody is completely fulfilled.
For this reason we've decided to divide and conquer – sending the boys on separate missions for much of the summer day.
While Oliver spends 3 days a week at his preschool, Axel is enjoying a curriculum entirely of my own. We're calling it "Axel Conquers Summer" and it features lesson plans created weekly - journaling, scavenger hunts, projects and of course...in Axel fashion...a hammock.
Week 1 - Reviews seem to be 5-star.
More to post on the "curriculum" later. For now I'm working on some photo edits and a planned "RE-BRAND" for my 8 year-old blog.
NEW - I'm searchable!
